Honestly, who cares? Plug it in every night. Even in the winter it’s way cheaper per mile for electricity than it would be for gas. Now if you need to drive more than 120 miles a day, this is clearly an issue, but you shouldn’t have this car.

They should make 2 categories. Tesla and the all other EVs. This is a non Tesla ev issue. Don’t buy an EV from an ICE auto company.

That range is ew to begin with. I love most EVs but refuse to buy a vehicle with less than 350-400miles of range. I’ll stick with gas until I can afford a nice one lol.

In a gas car, the range loss would be the same. Its just that people dont know because all they have to look at is the gas gauge. My prius claimed 50 mpg and it would do low to mid 40.

Battery heaters and cabin heater🙄 That range on the paper is in perfect conditions with no other battery usage. heater takes ALOT of power

We've owned our EV in Chicago for over 2 years. For daily commuting, it's amazing. Like every product, it fits some folks' needs and not others'.

many evs are equipped with battery heaters i suggest when shopping for one in states like Minnesota that its something you look out for

My Tacoma got 22 mpg summer,17 winter. Corrala hybrid got 55 summer, just under 40 winter. My bz4x gets 230 summer 190 winter.
