here my theory I think the Bree and pippa talk about steven ruining Lucy sophomore year thing affects steven more than Lucy. Yes Lucy obviously still thinks n is affected by him in ways. BUT I think he hurt her so bad sophomore year but she triumphs (Spain, dating max, still having relationships w her friends) steven starts to realize he’s losing power which we are starting to see that’s why he starts dating Lydia to hold that over Lucy as well. And when Lucy slept w max in front of steven that’s when he decided to send the video to hurt Lucy one more time to do his big one. That smile at the end was Bree telling steven that he didn’t win, he never won, and he never will. That smile could also indicate how whatever bad thing she’s done is now leveled with Evan not telling her he slept w Lucy (assuming Lucy told her n she didn’t blow up that’s why steven didn’t have an inclining she knew)
