i... have a massively weird question for the water cooling community.... 😑 i... have a mineral oil rig... i uave two options atm cause im a lunatic and wanna try this out... option 1 - build a custom water loop and then stick the whole rig (do you think the oring needs to be oil grade or yall think the one included is fine?) excluding the rads in the goop tank option 2 - figure out if mineral oil can flow in a water loop... for anyone wondering yes im insane

Opaque fluid solutions/dyes will also increase the rate of corrosion in a loop. Those were originally meant for short term show case builds.

I ended up with a ftw3 3080 with the waterblock, and I wanted to know how to clean the metal portions without causing an issue. You said distilled water for the plastic part but I didn’t hear what you used for the metal portions.

I used car coolant, but make Sure hat u give destilled water into IT. 20% coolant, 80% destilled water is a good Mix for good Temperatures.
