@wagmorpets: This is Charlie’s story. And it’s breaking my heart. 💔 Charlie was adopted three years ago as a puppy. He grew up with kids. He slept on the couch. He was family. 🛋️🐶 Then I got a text. I was told the man of the house and Charlie “never bonded.” Charlie didn’t go near him. Didn’t dote on him. Didn’t love him enough. So they gave the dog back. I still can’t wrap my head around that. Charlie is fully vetted. Neutered. Groomed. Healthy. A good dog. ✔️ But because he wasn’t attached to one person… his whole life was taken away. Humans don’t love everyone the same. Why do we expect dogs to? 💭🐾 When Charlie was dropped off, he was shaking. He wouldn’t eat. He chased the man to the door when he left. 💔 The man didn’t even say goodbye. Charlie doesn’t understand why he’s not going home. He doesn’t understand what he did wrong. Because he didn’t do anything wrong. I am grateful they brought him back to us instead of a shelter or worse. 🙏 And now we get the chance to do right by him. Charlie, I promise you this: I will find you your person. The one who is obsessed with you. The one who never walks away. 🐕❤️ This is Charlie’s story. And I’m hoping the right person sees this… and comes to meet him. 🏡✨🐾
