Tbh as an autistic person I’ve never enjoyed psychedelics because they just increase my already heightened sensory experiences. Tripping is like sensory overload x10. I don’t reccommend it for everyone

I am horrifified and fascinated. Firstly if they were testing on non verbal students with Autism, how would they report their experience? How would the scientists know if they were causing distress? But secondly, Autism is a spectrum - as in something that comes in millions of variations.... So there would never be a one size fits all solution. Also, I'd wonder if any changes are the kind of thing that is long lasting. 💜 your content btw 😉

1. I would love to see some follow up interviews with the children of those studies. 2. I'm autistic and Lucy def helped me in a lot of ways. one notable example is that I used to be an insanely picky eater that only ate processed foods. but after my second trip, I became the type of person who's down to try anything, and consequently eat much healthier nowadays
