Everyone is connected to the weight of what has happened. Mikasa lunges at Eren Mikasa lunges toward Eren’s head with anger and heartbreak burning in her chest. Her scarf flutters in the wind. The Rumbling is completely stopped. Eren is alive. Though he bears the marks of the Titans, he has survived. Armin looks at the group, speaking with both reason and emotion. Armin: "Eren only wanted to see the ones he loved safe and happy. He never wanted unnecessary bloodshed. Everyone, listen… I have many reasons to defend him." "Since childhood, Eren has always given us strength. He helped us defeat countless Titans: from the ballot Titan, to fighting the Female Titan, the Armored Titan, and the Colossal Titan. He led us to see the ocean. And now, he has ended a war of blood that has lasted for years. All of this… he did so we could live in peace." "The eighty percent of people he killed… one day, they may be seen as Titans like now. But Eren… he acted only for peace, for our family, and for humanity." Reflection of the group Everyone is silent. No one speaks. They reflect on what has happened and on Armin’s words. Their feelings are clear… Everything Eren did was justified.
