A massive Central Texas–style BBQ joint and beer garden opened by John Toomey at 93 years old, proving it’s never too late to chase a dream. Feels more like a high-end sports bar than a classic smokehouse, perfect for barbecue and a game. The brisket was tender with a peppery bark, the turkey was lean and flavorful, and the mac and cheese was thick, gooey, and cheesy.
