Hey man I gota ask. I work on Leo’s and was down in Ft benning back in OCT for a week just to use the M1 sims for a bit. my question is does the sound of the turbine have people going as crazy as I was. Like just after the week it’s all I could hear. Even after work was finished or is it something you can kida of just tune out when you get some time on the m1. Not a dig at the M1 I really liked a lot of things about it I’m genuinely just curious.

they said the turret will be a new built too the didplay just used an existing m1 turret and mpdified it for display

They’re probably looking for something like the Abram’s now but with less weight and probably better performance. I doubt they will keep all that junk on top of the turret

@Matt just being devils advocate here, do you see much of a future for tanks with the increase implementation of drones ? Fraction of the cost, faster deployment… just curious. Seems like drones are becoming a bigger chess piece in warfare.

it's way too early to tell anything, but it's going to be a pretty big change. 3 man crew means auto loader, I just hope the US doesn't copy the Russian tank turret space program.
