Listen, there is a much better way to do that without altering the shape of the door. Adjust and set your hinge properly so that door fits and it’s jam again. There are many videos out there explaining how to do this.

that's ok but your door wasn't catching at the top . and that gadget won't do the bottom where its close to the floor . plus why not just use a planer at the top ?
