I feel Alex so much in this movie, waiting and yearning for the woman he has secretly always wanted. When he finally gets her she still can’t choose all of him and his wishes so he feels betrayed and walks away so she gives it all up to fight for their love that has been ongoing for a decade. I hate that she couldn’t find a happy medium with the job she potentially could’ve kept but happy the story ended in a happy way
