This is likely rolling noise caused by metal-to-metal contact between the train wheels and the tracks. The noise could be worse at the curved stretches of the tracks. As the tracks have already been laid, it doesn’t seem that much can be done. Maybe the experts in LTA can advise.

Safe exposure limits Hearing damage depends on both volume AND time. • At 85 dB – safe limit is about 8 hours • At 90 dB – safe limit is about 2 hours • At 100 dB – safe limit is only about 15 minutes So if you’re exposed to 100 dB for more than around 15 minutes, you are at real risk of permanent hearing damage.

bro pls complain to lta. in tel stations, they use this equipment called anm which increases speaker volume when there is a crowd. this anm thing is burdening us workers also. please complain to disable this anm. we got no voice power

Yes there are some sections at the east side that are super high pitched and loud. I try to use noise cancelling headphones for those sections
