Yeah same fighting style but what people forget is in RE9 you have to shoot first to do a move like RE4 unlike RE6 you can just drop your weapon and become mike tyson unlike RE9 it is way better

no it's inspired by re4 and 8 as literally said by the games director, although Leon being able to use the environment to kill enemies is pulled straight from the last of us
