Paarthunax is such an interesting character within the context of Skyrim because you have this divine figure who has this interesting thematic question that pretty much is never explored in the MQ, he’s really the only good part about it

I would never slay paarthunax but I fear the blades are technically right in wanting him did. Paarthunax himself says “even now I feel to call to dominate” so who’s to say he won’t eventually turn on mankind. The whole keeping himself locked away to avoid temptation, he goes out into the world to gather the remaining dragons to teach them the way of the voice. What happens if he and his subordinates decide they no longer like the way of the voice. Again I’ve never killed paarthunax and don’t want to but the blades do have a point.

I disagree with killing paarthurnax, but I feel like a pretty good argument for killing paarthurnax that not a lot of people bring up is the fact that Paarthurnax wants the world to end. Paarthurnax loyalty is to Akatosh, not the dragonborn and he’s completely fine in the world ending if it happens the right way
