@newsnexussa: Missing 8-year old found killed for allegedly stealing Diperekisi (peaches) The search for missing 8-year old Naledi Ramaisa from Senekal in Free State has ended in tragedy. She was found dead and a suspect has been arrested. Naledi Ramaisa was reported missing by her aunt on 15 January. According to the police, Naledi's aunt complainant, left the child at 07:00 when going to work, but could not find her when she returned. While the search for Naledi continued on 16 January, around at 10:30 Sergeant TS Tlali from the Senekal Visible Police reported that he went to the missing person's aunt's residence Mrs Msibi. The search team realised that the shack next door, also at Tambo was locked during the search and they went to check if they could not get anyone. "Police further reported that the team realised that there was a foul smell coming from the next door shack. They then forced the door to open and discovered a dead body of a minor in a 1000 liter blue container." Said Police Spokesperson Sinah Mpakane. The info gathered on the scene by the police revealed that the owner of the shack was in Welkom and had left the shack in the care of her 16-year old nephew, who was at school at that time. The nephew was fetched from school and he confessed that he hit Naledi with a rock when she was picking peaches from a tree. He further alleged that after seeing that the victim was unconcious, he decided to drag her into the shack and put her body inside a 1000 liter container. The nephew was arrested, and he will appear in court on Monday 19 January, facing murder charges. Naledi was declared dead on the scene and was identified by her aunt.
