the best is combining them use the grease from the bacon to add to the sausage so you can make more them add the sausage into the gravy.

My grandmother used to make chicken gravy the morning after she fried chicken. She’d save the grease to make the gravy and then chop up whatever leftover chicken we had and mix it in. Delicious.

for some reason when we would have bacon gravy at breakfast we would put sugar on top of it, but not when we would eat sausage gravy 🤷♀️
