So i just read the update. He ended up telling his wife (she already knew as she found the Reddit post) they are ok and haven’t told anyone else. Looks like they are hb/hs so have the same dad. Who he thinks could be his bio mum passed away few years ago 😢 gonna get kids genetic tests done just to be safe

I see no problem with it at all. They didn't grow up as siblings and never knew they were related, and the kids seem fine genetically

„Fun“fact, there are studies showing that this phenomenon isn‘t as rare as we think, when siblings are grwoing up apart but find each other later in life without knowing that they are related, the closeness is mostly confused with romantical attraction and because they didn‘t grow up together there isn‘t this „filter“ where we and our body is saying „no this is weird“. It‘s of course disturbing even more so for the involved parties, but it can be explained as to why it happens, not often, but also not as rare as we think it might.
