This is the problem. We think because for some reason you have to be drunk to be fun! Truth is we are probably the most unhappy under the influence like you said.

I used to drink heavy from 17 to 21, Everytime I drank I felt I needed to take it too far and be blackout drunk or throwing up. After I turned 21 I slowed way down and only drank occasionally, I wouldn't classify myself as an alcoholic at the time, I haven't had a drink for over a year cause I realized I didn't need it and truly realized I didn't want it

I get it. Sometimes I feel boring and not fun sometimes, but the chaos surroundings me Sober since 2012. Wow, I too went from wanting to be around people and get drunk in the process. Then I had to get drunk to have fun, then to just getting drunk at home. I avoided crowds too, just about getting drunk, alone. Sober is better. Clarity is the best way to describe it. Keep it up. Life is better sober, not as fun, but chaos is gone.
