🚨🇩🇿: ISHOWSPEED FACES BRUTAL RACISM IN ALGERIA Algiers, Algeria: Popular American streamer IShowSpeed, 20-year-old black YouTuber Darren Watkins Jr., faced extreme hate during his Africa tour. At Nelson Mandela Stadium for a big football match, ultras threw water bottles, trash, and objects at him and his team just for filming. Someone shouted "NIGGER" and hard R at him on camera. Speed looked shocked, said "they hate me here," and left early under heavy security. This is not new in Algeria. Anti-black racism hits sub-Saharan migrants hard. Since 2017, Algeria deported over 27,000 black Africans, often dumping them in the desert with no food or water, some died on the way. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty call it racial profiling and hate speech. Black people make less than 1% of Algeria's population but face daily slurs, attacks, and discrimination. Many sub-Saharan Africans say Algerians alienate themselves with strong Arab identity and treat dark-skinned people like trash. Most black Africans do not relate to North Africans and see them as separate from "real" Africa because of this ongoing hate and exclusion.
