We fully got divorced! Did not expect to reconnect, but it just kind of happened after our son was diagnosed with a neurodivergence. We were spending more time together and after 4 years apart decided to try again. It’s the healthiest relationship we’ve ever had now!! We are in therapy, we’ve both grown and done work on ourselves. In the 4 years we were apart, neither of us got into another relationship.

the reason why I know my marriage is over is because he told me he didn't care how I felt when I tried to express myself to him. I didn't feel safe to talk and he simply didn't care. ive grieved my marriage while in it. separated now and I think divorce would be the best thing ever. glad for those who could fix their marriage.

I'm currently separated and have been since the day after Christmas. I instantly was going to file for divorce but decided to give it space and time to possibly see if things can be reconciled. I signed a year lease last week and moved out. I just don't know if I can believe him that he's going to be better.

Exactly same. All he cared about is what I could do for him, had to be at the center everything. I, gave until I was completely empty. I didn't set boundaries, which allowed the behavior to continue. Moved out, filed, now reconciling and still working through things.

Thank you for this. I’m sitting here now. He’s started to make changes and is being consistent and I’m still not emotionally ready to accept him back. I wanted it to work for so long but now that it’s happening, I’m not sure what I want and hearing outside people is so hard to ignore. I’m embarrassed by telling some ppl I was starting to do the divorce process and now we are working on repairing. I’ve been living in our basement and staying seperate has helped immensely. So thank you for sharing.💕
