If you can try to add in the Mayan Ruins in Tikal National Park, they give you a tour you can walk on the ruins and they let you roam freely for about an hour

Best place in the world & perfect itinerary. We’ve been multiple times & even got married there. There was a “state of emergency” almost every time we visited and i feel safer in Guatemala than i do in America. Everyone go!!!
