This is France French. Canadian French is a different regional dialect. Some words are used in both but Canadian French uses an older French due to the heritage and gatekeeping aspect of French Canadian history

Been telling my students these for years!! Lived in both Paris & Montréal and all are true, especially “comme ci- comme ça”. Ugh. No one uses that expression anymore unless you’re 85.
