Balotelli and Vinicius are perfect examples of how many players are coached incorrectly, or simply don’t fully understand the game. Instead of just watching the play unfold, they should be heading towards the goal, making it more difficult for the player on the ball to finish. Five players standing around and observing achieves nothing. They’re passive, waiting for something to happen, instead of taking action and influencing the outcome.
