LSU was definitely more entertaining but competitions aren’t about who the judges “like” more. There’s a score sheet for a reason and the difficulty of UNLV’s routine was MUCH higher than LSU’s. LSU would’ve been my overall choice for 1st but I understand why UNLV got it. I knew they were LSU’s biggest competition from the beginning. You either get it or you don’t 🤷🏾♀️

It makes me wonder if UNLV changed some things based on the judges critiques from semifinals and that’s why they scored higher because they listen to what the judges wanted instead of keeping the integrity of the original routine

UCF did better than UNLV. They should’ve went down to 4th and UCF into 3rd. Nothing about UNLV’s final gave 1st over LSU, Cincinnati, and UCF.

LSU who had many transitions rather than dancing and lots of pauses was better than the UNLV team that actually used different sections of hip hop throughout their routine. Being modern hip hop and even hitting classic old school moves and tricks. It’s a trend to like LSU atp bc there’s no way y’all being fr😭😭

The only difference i see in UNLV performance from day 1 to day 2 was they came way harder and the energy was there. BUT LSU performed…for me they put on a show pure entertainment!

hi so actually unlv is back to back champs unlike lsu cause last time i saw unlv won hiphop AND game day last year and this year !

unlv def had itttt😩. and i LOVE lsu. theirs was amazing but i see many times in comp hiphop will get a higher place because its more street and core hip hop. Lsu was more choreography based COMPARED to vegas😩. i was so upset but i understand WHY.
