I would quibble about the use of the word disrespected, I would rather say that the world has no respect or we now lack respect for the US. Disrespect would require more effort than i care to give.

I live here and I don’t like the U. S. I’m an old lady now and leaving really isn’t feasible. My sister and niece made it to Canada and I’m grateful for that every day.
