@stephanie: This song leaves a lump in my throat. We are all predisposed to one thing or another, some things are less favorable and more toxic than others, but it’s up to you to pave the way for a different life for yourself. What comes easy and naturally for some is not the best thing for my family, so I wake up everyday and make the difficult but conscious decision to be who I wish I was at my core; not who I was destined to be. I am doing the hard work of breaking family cycles, it is a lonely road but in the end it will worth it, and it will be fruitful.
