I personally love the book - but then I understand that liking a book is subjective...I get enjoyment from reading biased storyline which is definitely the 'plot told via letter' plot device

I hate that Dracula gets all the attention when it stemmed from the Carmilla book which is a lesbian vampire book and that one doesn’t even get mentioned ever lol but I do hope you’re enjoying!

When they first started doing blood transfusions they didn't know about blood types. So, it was actually very hit or miss if the blood transfusion would work. Blood types were discovered in the early 1900s according to a quick Google!

My book club read Dracula in 2024 and one of my friends said “they really did used to just end books.” And I can’t explain but it’s still my favorite, most accurate thing ever said about a book. Loved Dracula!

My favorite part is when the guy staying in the castle looks out a window and Dracula is walking up the wall of the castle and the guy is just like “oh okay”. I would FLIP OUT!
