If you take that ferry over to Whidbey Island, there is a drive-in movie theater! It’s called blue fox drive-in and it’s an absolutely amazing experience! They have a website so you can see all of the movies that they are showing!

I live in Edmonds! It's on the water, south of Mulilteo. Cute downtown area with lots of restaurants, shops, parks and the ferry to Kingston on the peninsula. You'll love it! 🥰

There are some beaches that are closer to Duvall/woodinville! Check out Juanita beach park or Marina Park that are both in Kirkland😊

Its been such a gorgeous weekend!💚 We spent the day in Seattle. We live in Snohomish County, but the link makes it so easy to do day visits now. The work they've done to the Seattle waterfront is amazing. If you haven't yet, take your daughter to the updated Aquarium and go to Pike Place.

🐚 I am soooo excited you are finding so many fun things to do in Washington. Lived here most of my life. You still have to get to the ocean. Washington Beaches are okay but…. You have to go to Cannon Beach in Oregon. You will absolutely loose it. Have fun!!

During the summer, you should take the kids to Jenny Island off Everett Marina. It’s only open during the summer to the public in a ferry runs, but it’s such a shallow beach. There’s kite surfers and the water is super warm because it’s so shallow such a perfect spot for kids.

That was my teenage sunny day hangout spot! Lived in Everett and loved the beach and the eats in Mukilteo😋 I moved back to Whidbey where I was born and trust me take that ferry over one day! Island explore and south end eat!

When it’s warmer you have to go to the ice cream shop in the small restaurant area. There’s usually a line but it’s so good!!

Go to the Everett waterfront/marina for a nice walk! Look for seals and stop by Southfork bakery! Also plan a trip for the children’s museum, Imagine, in downtown Everett!

Cottage Lake park on Woodinville-Duvall Road is a hidden gem. Its so much bigger than you think. It has boat launch (non-motorized) and big wrap around fishing and swimming dock, and the playground is so big with a ton of nearby covered shelters. Is amazing in the summer when the pool is open and they have concerts. It’s my favorite neighborhood type park.

Yes go to Kingston!! It’s such a fun day. Everything is right off of the ferry and really accessible. The beach is AMAZING.
