@chattanoogaemergency: Just before 11:00 PM, a shooting occurred inside the Waffle House in East Ridge, Tennessee. Law enforcement officers responded to reports of gunfire and secured the scene upon arrival. Once the scene was deemed safe, EMS was dispatched and entered the restaurant, where they located a victim who had been shot in the chest. Emergency crews immediately began medical care, stabilizing the victim before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
