The restaurant should not advertise a seafood all-you-can-eat buffet if the owner cannot afford it. That is considered false advertising. The family should sue.

Most places like this have a limitation on the crab legs, right on the sign and near the legs. I have an oriental buffet that does this and they advertise it is a certain amount per person, and yes they have to get it themselves.

parents where having him fill and take all the crab legs leaving none for anyone else who want some he was getting plates and plates full. parents could of easily walked up and gotten their own food

If that’s all that happened then the restaurant is 100% at fault for false advertising, but I heard another pov about a year ago where apparently they were sending the kid to get almost the entire tray of crab legs, leaving near nothing for other customers and send him back to camp at the seafood station until they refilled the tray and in that case it’s the family’s fault

First off they sent one 11 year old to go get crab legs for the table, if the have a limit on crab legs like a lot of buffets do the limit doesn’t multiply per table, its per person. The rest of the table should’ve been getting up to get their own damn food. Also What kind of 7 year old wants an all you can eat sea food buffet. My 6 year old cousin won’t eat the majority of food put in front of him.
