@randomkoreanarchive: In 2008, Korean society was even more Confucian and conformist than it is today—a place where standing out or looking different in public was strongly discouraged. That same year, a video of a man dancing Tecktonik in the middle of Myeongdong, the busiest street in Korea at the time, went viral and is still talked about today. With voluminous hair, white sunglasses, an orange T-shirt, and green Converse sneakers, his outfit itself showcased an outstanding sense of style—and his dancing skills were just as impressive. (Rumor has it that the video was actually a Converse advertisement, though the truth remains unknown.) #Korea #Tecktonik #Y2K #KoreanFashion

It’s hard to understand how much world is changed in this last 18 years. It’s like a drop in a ocean if we just focus on the number of years, but what happened in this span of time and it’s velocity, it’s crazy

Antes se me hacía un baile muy ridículo, pero a través del tiempo me doy cuenta que en efecto si, me sigue pareciendo ridículo
