"why not study na gusto ko?" exactly🫶🏻 just wanna share my experience🤓i was in an engineering program before, but over time i realized that engineering wasn’t for me anymore, it wasn’t aligned with my passion or what i truly love. that’s why i decided to shift to bs medical laboratory science. shifting was scary confusing and full of doubt but it became one of the bravest decisions i have ever made. i learned that every program has its own struggles and difficulties, we just choose which hardships we are willing to face. to learn something i genuinely want.. and that choice gave me peace, it is comforting to know that i am not alone in feeling this way🩷

from up too, and i shifted from arki to chem engg. graduated na, and i still believe it was the best decision i have made in my stay. totoong “just choose your hard!” kung mahirap naman lahat sa eskwelahang to, dun na sa mas masayang mahirap

Yes, social work is an often unheard-of profession. Not everyone who helps in the community can be called asocial worker, and our work is not limited to DSWD. It becomes more fun, especially when what you’re learning comes to life in the field and your perspective on people changes. ✨ Excited for you🥰

love this for you, and i love how honest you are about how this decision is such a privilege indeed! was in the same boat and took my time in UP because i could. i'm so grateful still, not everyone can do the same. everything just fell into place eventually :)

I am also in BS Math and I hate it. Tinamad lang talaga ako mag shift. Will definitely not listen to you and just finish it, close to graduating na naman. Life is not always easy.

YESSS! did the same as well from CE to ENSE even tho I knew I would be delayed. I saw it as bravery to leave a course after years of staying 🥹 I graduated na and I'm happy ❤️Choose to shift if you think its no longer for you! It's no shame, di ka sayang ❤️Padayonnnn!

My cuzz was also a 3rd year Engineering student at UPD when she shifted to a Comms course. It took her 10 years to finish college because she enjoyed her life in college. No prob. She is thriving and successful in her career. I also have a college friend who was already on her 3rd year at UPD before she chose to transfer at UPM to take up nursing. UP will teach you that graduating on time is just an option.

since you’ve already spent several years in BS Math, have you thought about finishing it first before enrolling in BS Social Work? I’m asking because I want to understand your perspective.

Nursing to HM. Pero sana tinapos ko na lang yung nursing kahit mabaliw na ako kaka aral. Now nag take ako ng units sa educ at mag board exams this march. Sana pumasa ako by God's grace ☺
