30 + yrs cook/chef I hear the printer. I only say "behind" outside of a restaurant kitchen. I use it at home, grocery stores, etc. My wife asked me to not answer her with "heard" because it sounds rude to her. 🤣

Fortunately I usually don’t hear the phantom printer, but I will hear the printer when we go out to eat at other restaurants. Even if we’re far away, I still hear it. And the calls for hands.

I drive forklift, I've hit my left blinker to the left to back out of a parking spot which is actually gear shift on forklift. I've also driven my car and honked at a blind spot and then thought what the hell am I doing. different jobs same side effect so yeah you're normal 🥰🥰

No but i worked for sysco foods in the warehouse for 20 years and I was so used to honking at cross sections on my pallet jack that i used to honk my car horn at stop signs before I would drive past. Pure habit
