it had happened to family members and they did a schedule c section for their second or third to a avoid abruption again!! I would also look into a diff doc and hospital cuz them not responding to the beeps for over an hour tht doesnt seem right, my nurse would come in every time something beeped!

I’m sorry you had to experience that and Jeremy has valid worries. You’ve said you have no family near by so imagine from his POV. Count your blessings of 2 beautiful, healthy girls. You already do so much on your own, can you really imagine a 3rd baby added to the day to day craziness?

I thought everything was going great all pregnancy but turns out I had placenta increta (the placenta grew into my muscle wall )and didn’t find out till after labor turns out sometimes it doesn’t show in ultrasounds so right after birth I was rushed into emergency surgery and they cut out the placenta out and had to give me blood transfusions I was bleeding out and the whole time I was awake watching all the nurses and my dr freaking out cause I was bleeding out. After that my husband got a vasectomy cause I almost died ! It was horrific !

My first my placenta ruptured at home and I went to the hospital and was only 2 or 3centimeters dilated. I was in so much pain but delivered fine. They told me I would’ve had a C-section as well if she didn’t come out that same day. But with my son pregnancy was horrible I was always in pain, always nauseous, and had the worst migraines. But my delivery went so smoothly walked into the hospital at almost 1pm had him around 2pm. My doctor never told me that I could have another placenta ruptured with my second.

My first was a premie because the placenta erupted I went to the hospital back and forth after the 3rd time I had contractions and had to have an emergency c section with my 2bd kid I was monitored more doc appointments to be safe it doesn’t happen again more testing but I made it to 41 weeks we were going to have vbac but she didn’t want to come out so ended up with a c section but everything was healthier and better so yes it’s scary but having a great doctor maters

I dont have no kids. But 2 lovely nieces. I thank the mother for all she went thru for having them. Now inunderstand the love u have for your little princess💓💓

I had a healthy pregnancy up until labor and delivery. I ended up needing a blood transfusion and was kept overnight in the delivery unit. Traumatized for life and can’t even think about having another baby right now but would love to have two babies. so I feel ya girl 😭

I was 30 weeks pregnant with twins when I had an emergency c section due to placenta abruption and had two transfusions. They put me under so I didn't meet them until hours later. They turned 3 last November

I had a placental abruption at 35 weeks. It was terrifying. I had to have an emergency c section. This was over 8 years ago. My son asks for a little brother all the time and I just can’t/couldnt!

I’m so sorry, that is so scary for both of you. Women are incredible, motherhood, seriously changes us, and we just love our babies! Trust God, i’m sure if you guys pray together and feel it is a good decision, then you can both have faith and know that he will take care of you guys! A C-section should help with those issues you have last time. Then at least you wouldn’t have to worry about it happening again I think with C-section. God can do amazing things. And I truly feel he will not lead us down a path that would be bad for us, like if he gives us a good feeling about something he wouldn’t cause something bad to happen.

I’m sorry that happen to you! I didn’t have a a bad delivery but my pregnancy was bad, I throw up for 8 months straight and got pre-preeclampsia and lost weight but I still want another one but scared to through the pregnancy part again.. I would say talk to your doctor for peace of mind

I’m a medical malpractice lawyer and they are right placental abruption is common with a pregnancy following one. And if you had one shoulder dystocia you will likely have another and those can be really really bad for the child. But, your OB may say you have to have a c-section. I would pray about God’s will for your life. ❤

Goodness my daughter had shoulder dysplasia I think that’s how u say it . Mind u they didn’t tell me till the next day after I changed her outfit no wonder why she was screaming 🙄…. I pushed for 5 hours was in labor for 3 days she came out blue and purple she didn’t come out crying finally they got her to breath thank god i had her at ucsd La Jolla love the hospital but I feel like they could of been more consistent when checking me . Cause 3 days of labor and 5 hours is wild to me

I had an abruption, but bled slowly for 8 months of my pregnancy. I was put on bed rest and delivered 6 weeks early. My pregnancy after that was completely normal and my son was healthy
