Jay :
Gravity is the curvature of spacetime caused by Earth. A bowling ball and a feather move through the same curved spacetime and follow the same natural path, so they fall at the same rate regardless of their mass.

question if you apply force for both to move horizontally like to accelerate, still without air and with gravity, will they reach the destination the same?

If it were a vacuum, then why would they be affected by gravity? why wouldn't they float, like in space?

Several Muslim scholars and polymaths during the Islamic Golden Age (roughly 8th–14th centuries) explored concepts related to gravity, long before Isaac Newton's formulation in the 17th century.
Key figures who understood or explored gravity include:
Al-Khazini (12th Century): Often cited for his work in Kitab Mizan al-Hikmah (The Book of the Balance of Wisdom), he proposed that the gravity of a body varies depending on its distance from the center of the Earth. He described heaviness as a force that moves an object towards the center of the world.
Al-Biruni (973–1048 CE): A Persian polymath who proposed that heavenly bodies have gravity, weight, and mass, just like Earth. He also stated that heavy objects are drawn towards the center of the Earth.
Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen, 965–1040 CE): He described gravity as a force in which a heavier body moves towards the center of the Earth.
Abu'l-Barakat al-Baghdadi (12th Century): Adopted and modified earlier theories on projectile motion and is credited with an early, vague anticipation of the fundamental law of classical mechanics (that a force applied continuously produces acceleration).
These scholars contributed to the understanding of gravity as a, or the, force attracting objects to the center of the Earth, and in some cases, applied this to celestial mechanics.

I thought gravity would act diferently on the ball and the feathers based on diferent weights ... 🤔
I should read more 😭
