@thetessiers: This has been her journey, but as a Mom it’s been the most emotional last nine months. You always want to be so strong for your kids, but when they’re going through something so difficult it takes a part of you too. Tears in private, praying to God she’d make it through. I feel so fortunate that we didn’t face the ups and downs that a lot of athletes do when they go through such a life altering experience. She persevered with grace and strength that I didn’t even know she had. I am so proud of her every single day. When she takes that field for the first time, I will most likely cry. But it will be tears of joy. All of her hard working paying off and closing this chapter of her beautiful life. Her comeback story is my favorite one yet. #acl #aclsurgery #aclrecovery #athlete #fyp

I am so proud of her! I am going through my 3rd surgery on the right leg I had it done on December 30th! I’m 2 weeks post op and putting a little weight on it! I had to have a cadaver tendon put in and some screws and old hardware taken out!

This 🥹🥰 My daughter goes for an MPFL & Tibial Tuberosity Osteotomy on Feb 5th. Ive cried more then she has. She is 15 and plays rep softball, and watching that fade away has been so hard. Any tips for keeping the mental health part up?! ♡♡
