everyone’s so obsessed with boxing themselves into little groups so that they can make more sense out of themselves and fit in. this is inherently lessening people’s rational thinking because they change or subdue their opinions to fit what’s deemed acceptable in their group. everyone wants to be on the winning team, but nobody can win if we aren’t able to be free in our own minds.
