@hicarsondogss: I got a comment on one of my videos saying that it’s cruel to give a dog a good last day and then put them back in their cage. But what’s the alternative? Leaving them alone in their kennel all day, knowing what’s coming? It’s a privilege to be able to love these dogs and give them a little relief before everything is taken from them. If no one comes for Anais, I hope she remembers she was loved. Anais came in as a stray in December with her sibling, Gumdrop.He was adopted. She was left behind. It’s taken a toll on her and she’s become very scared and timid in the shelter. She’s only about 2 years old and she’s a small girl for a German Shepherd. She’s incredibly sweet, polite, calm, and dainty. She allows handling easily, just needs a gentle, patient home to help her feel safe again. She would do best in a home, and with large calm dogs. Buck (who I posted yesterday) and Anais are two of the most urgent dogs at Carson right now. You all showed Buck so much love, and I’m really hoping Anais gets the same. I truly cannot fathom the thought of her being walked to the euthanasia room. If anyone can give this sweet girl more than just a little comfort, please go meet her.
