My first school relationship was when I was 15. When he was around I just stayed silent and felt really awkward, like I didn’t belong. He asked me out almost every time but I mostly said no because I didn’t know what to say or how to act. One time we finally went out together for the first and last time😭 and he kept talking the whole time while I didn’t say anything, just nodded and said things like 'yeah, mhm, same.' I didn’t understand why I was like that and I felt embarrassed about myself. Because of that I broke up with him 3 4 times thinking I was ruining everything but we still got back together. In the summer of 2024 I finally broke up for good realizing it was really because of my own situation. I don’t even know if I can call it my first love(( Later when I was 16 I met another guy and the same thing happened. He asked me out but I again said no and I couldn’t really talk properly even in messages. It was the same with my ex too. I still don’t understand why I act like this. Sometimes I’m afraid it might get even worse in the future. What should I do in situations like this?
