@heavenlyartz: This has to be one of the most complicated lips I’ve worked on in the last ten years. As I work on it over the past week, it stares right back at me, then I think to myself: “oh, the art is actually waiting for me to complete it.” I find myself in the art because, in that moment of connection, I am the one “executing” the meaning. Without my perspective, the art is stationary; and with my perspective, it becomes a living, dynamic thing.
