We don’t have a village and have 3 girls💕 it’s hard especially because my husband is active duty! I get it and I don’t feel alone anymore hearing you say the same! BUT my girls are 8, 5, and almost 4. They play well MOST OF THE TIME but also don’t get along in the same sense. Some days are a breeze, others are simply staying alive 🤣

SAME. the twos were a BREEZE 🤣 My daughter is 4 ( 5 in April )& my son is 9 months ( 1 in April ) I absolutely love their age gap , and they really do entertain each other well lol. We have a very small village ( literally my mom, that’s it ) . It’s very overwhelming at times bc I am a sahm & my husband is a diesel mechanic & a hunter 😅 so he’s gone ALOT but honestly I want another even tho we said we were two & done 😂

No your brain is LYING to you lmao. I have two kids and I wouldn’t change anything but they are 3 years apart and absolutely get on each others nerves and they both have two very different personalities. You’ll have to be dealing with changing diapers and feedings while the baby is crying and your toddler is still acting crazy because you’re not entertaining them because you can’t all while going through postpartum. Yes there definitely are sweet moments but a lot of hectic ones too. If you’re wanting another because you think it will help with her maybe not a good idea but if you want one because YOU actually want another child and go through all those little moments again while they grow then I get it.

We have a 4 year old, and we are due with our second in August. They will be 4.5 years apart. We struggled for the last 3.5 years on whether to have another or not, but we finally decided that it needed to happen. We don’t have much of a village, and we wanted to be sure she always had someone in this life. We are nervous but excited!

I have two boys. No village at all. No sitters or people on standby ever. My parents are both gone, my husbands parents work full time Monday thru Friday. It's hard at times but love love them both and you're right my kids entertain each other quite a bit and have such an amazing bond. They do be fighting often too though.

0-1 kids is far harder then 1-2, you know what to expect with the newborn stage so that’s easy, and they totally do help entertain eachother !! Once they get older! I have a 17 month age gap with mine so it definitely had its struggles but it’s gotten aloottt easier as they’ve gotten older, now 3.5 and 2

You are not alone on the one & done topic… 2 was EASY compared to 3 and I’m only a week into year 3 😅 & she’s also very much so a Velcro child but I really think it’s because she has no one to play with but us. She also struggles playing with other kids when we’re at birthday parties,etc because she’s so used to being around adults. 🥲
