tbf the workers weren't happy with the order schedule either atleast they gave you a spot you could hang out in for a few hours. delivery manager should of been out to apologise if the afternoon pick up wasn't stated. transport industry can be a nightmare sometimes

Been there before. The project manager says hey I need this thing, his boss says great I'll order it and arrange the pickup, truck driver comes to the place with no pickup number, BOL, or even an email from the company saying they want this thing. 45 minutes later they send a shipping ticket over email. Everyone has to wait.

At my job we make appointments with dispatchers and the drivers keep coming early and expecting to be loaded/unloaded whenever they arrive and I have to keep telling drivers when their appointments actually are.

it's so fucking annoying doing friday loads interstate, and then they aren't ready, it's the same in Denmark. people act like it's nothing, but they are litterally cutting into his weekend.

We have had guys wait at the docks for hours man. Sometime stuff happens that prevents the orders from getting out. Other times it’s because the office people order trucks way too early and we can’t make the time.
