@wusodream: Present day, present time. Duvet by bôa has become a cult classic in internet for so many reasons. First and foremost, the song is beautiful and has the perfect tinge of pain and melancholy. Secondly though, the anime Serial Experiments Lain has seen a huge uptick in popularity as it almost feels prophetic in many ways to many people, specifically outlining the conditions that the digital world feels like today and for individuals dealing with it. I don’t want to spoil the anime, but the song has been the entry point of many and the band itself is fantastic. I didn’t get to talk about it here but the album that the track came off of, Twilight (originally The Race of a Thousand Camels) is also fantastic with Twilight and Fool being all-timers to me.
