“Up to” I had a bag destroyed, they tried of replace it with a “a comparable” one(same size but cheap/low quality) I proved the actual value of the bag and they coughed up more

Air Canada once knocked a front zipper off their own branded luggage. Not even duct tape would hold the flap shut! I asked air Canada about it when checking luggage for my last flight home and picked it up at my home airport wrapped in some kind of tape that was hard to cut off lmao

so many different stipulations and also sometimes just replacement issue depends if intl or domestic so many stipulations and so not correct. time frame reported if type of damage even covered from a airline in there contract of carriage so not correct.
