At collect a con, this vendor had a gengar mimikyu for 1000. I offered him 900 cash and he didn’t wanna take it. Then wanted to do a 950-1000 coin flip. I walked away.

I had a vendor deny a sale because market for the cards was 3 dollars and he wanted 6 dollars because if I were to buy online, i would have to pay shipping and tax which is basically 6 dollars

I know somebody who’s been trying to move a sequential stamp to Japanese promo set for over seven months and won’t really budge on price and I’m like then don’t put it out for people if you want it as a conversation piece you can mention it, but it has never sold. You’re never gonna get your value back.

My man, last card show I went to I tried to get a 3 dollar Japanese Sylveon card, and the vendor was just going on and on about how someone WILL buy it for more than 11 dollars 😞 honestly was one of the most irritating experiences I had at a show

wow those Not For Sale sound ridiculous. I can understand holding a card at the booth for a buyer who's already paid, but at least turn the card face down or something.

its always funny how they pick and choose the last solds you can show the avg of the last 10 sold and they'll pick a last sold from 2yrs ago thats 150+ over 🤣
