This actually makes sense. The Beckams photos, videos, interviews always look polished so it’s obvious it’s curated to perfection. If your child says something this damning, it comes from a place of ‘I’ve had enough of this bs, I want out’. I’m sure every kid at one point or another has felt this because they want to be authentic to who they are and not defined by their parents.
