@bruhmomentummoment: Footage: @NileRed This video breaks down how scientists turn ordinary natural wood into an ultra-strong material, AKA superwood, that can stop bullets. By chemically softening the lignin and then compressing the wood under extreme heat and pressure, the internal cell structure collapses and forms incredibly tight bonds. The result is a dense, hardened wood that’s stronger than steel by weight and can provide protection similar to Kevlar. It’s still 100% wood, just engineered in a way that makes it suitable for armor, structural panels, and even military or disaster-relief applications, all at a fraction of the cost of traditional materials. #shorts #Science #engineering #wood #innovation
