I live with someone who uses weaponized incompetence. An example from early tonight. I washed the living room curtains. Asked him to put the curtains on the rod and hang it. The curtains have a pocket for the rod. He asked for help before even picking it up and looking at it. He didn’t even have to get the curtains from the dryer. It’s truly exhausting. Don’t ask what you can help with if I gotta do it still anyways. 😭

It's so hard to explain how this behavior is so unattractive that you don't want to be intimate for months after he does something like this. Then he keeps doing it and you start to see him as an annoying little boy and not the man that you fell for. It was hard for me to explain this to my husband but after we got through this conversation it did a lot for our love life
