I was 11 and bled for 14 weeks. So yeah I was on birth control because it was so painful I would cry and hardly be able to move. Don’t worry though it only took 3 kids, 2 leap procedures, 1 ablation and 17 years of begging to finally get a hysterectomy

I was on bc at 12 in the 1980s because I have endometriosis, and my period would last for months. I had no idea what the problem was - just had excruciating pain, anemia, and heavy flow. Birth control let me function.

When I was a teen I would bleed for 9-12 days then have about 14 days off, then start again. With terrible mood swings, debilitating cramps, and acne. Luckily, my mom put me on BC and I didn’t have a period from 14-19. Life changing.

when I was a teen until my late 20s I would regularly bleed for 15 to 30 days if I wasn't on birth control. had a bunch of tests done nothing wrong just unlucky.

I have PMDD. Not only can birth control literally be life saving sometimes, I spent years on various forms of it and still got pregnant with zero issues three times. (And I'm very sorry if you are a person who wants to conceive and is struggling ❤)
