I don’t see NEARLY enough concern for this photographer who is clearly acting out of the norm for her and her business! I totally understand that everyone is freaking out about the money and that is totally fair, but this is a woman who people have recommended for years. Who venues and planners recommended because she’s so wonderful. This is clearly out of character for her and I just hope she’s alright.

I was in a bad car accident back in December of 2014. Busy salon owner with a full clientele load for the holidays. My husband contacted all my scheduled appointments to let them know I was in an accident. One client didn’t believe I was in an accident and went off on my husband and left me a horrible text message on how angry she was to be cancelled. To this day I still remember how upsetting it was to be treated by a client like this. A persons health comes first. I pray this photographer is okay and everyone who scheduled with her is made right. 🙏

As a photographer I have had the conversation with my spouse that if anything ever happened to me, how to get ahold of each of my clients and other photographers to reach out to, to make sure my clients service doesn’t get disrupted. I pray her family is ok but this is a reminder to photographers that we are a business that provides a service and our clients rely on us to have adequate operations in place in case of emergencies. 🙏🏼

Just saw her instagram it looks like her husband posted something saying there’s been an unexpected medical emergency and that she’s been hospitalized twice in the past recently…. Something seems suspicious. I hope she’s okay.

I’m glad people don’t know all of the other things DV includes but you guys have to realize that if it got so bad that she was hospitalized, he’s probably done a bunch more to sabotage her - deleting the photos, wiping flashdrives, spending all the money himself, etc. Obviously it’s incredibly unfair to the brides and I would be really upset too but this is why welfare is more important than a lawsuit rn

I’m not a photographer but I’m a website developer. Part of being self employed is having a network of peers. If anything happened to me, my husband can contact numerous people to take over projects or he could simply refund. It’s unfortunate that she’s having an issue but it’s also wildly unprofessional and unacceptable, both can be true.

Her husband made a post to her socials saying she’s been in the hospital twice recently. He was arrested for DV in December, and her phone is off and he’s communicating for her? And she’s highly recommended by many people and venues? Maybe someone needs to try and get in touch with her personally to see if she’s okay

I feel for all of these brides, I really do. But I just know that if something is actually seriously wrong and something happened to her, their demeanor would change instantly. I’ve seen a lot of comments saying that family should have reached out. What if she doesn’t have any family other than her husband? Also, has no one seen that her husband was recently arrested for DV? Like is all of this as a whole not suspicious? Idk, maybe that’s just my take because i’m not personally affected by the situation. But something could have actually happened/be happening to her, we don’t know.

As a wedding photographer myself, I completely understand that life happens illness, emergencies, even accidents. But communication is non-negotiable. A simple update or message to clients goes a long way. Silence is what creates panic and distrust.
