For the stuffys(we call them cuddlys), we bought an empty bean bag thing and stuff them inside. My kids use it as an actual beanbag when they’re reading in their room and then can just unzip it and play with the cuddlys when they want to.

My son used to do the same thing and just dump all his toys out. What I did was limit the toys he got. If he wanted to play with something else I would tell him it was time to clean up. He’s about to be 2 1/2 and he picks up the toys he’s done playing with them, to get new toys. We went to check out some 3k schools a couple days ago and he saw a toy that he liked and after we were done in the class room I asked him if he could put it back and he did. The guy giving me the tour was surprised and said he follows instructions. That made me feel like I was doing something right because idk what I’m doing.

my grandson had a doctor kit, when he was older in elementary school he used the parts as part of his Halloween costume when he was a doctor. none of the little pieces came home with him. 😆

The clean-up song worked with my kids. Having them help clean up teaches them if they make the mess, they help clean up the mess. It goes a long way as they get older.
